CONCEPT: Clothing as a Service

Vibrent, initially known as Fjong, was a Norwegian clothing rental company that offered consumers a sustainable way to enjoy fashion without the waste associated with buying new outfits. The initiative aimed to solve the problem of textile waste and the environmental impact of the fashion industry. It provided a solution by creating a platform for renting high-quality garments, thus promoting a circular economy within the textile sector. Despite its noble intentions and potential for positive environmental impact, Vibrent faced challenges that led to its bankruptcy in February 2024.

Vibrent, tidligere kjent som Fjong, var et norsk klesutleiefirma som tilbød forbrukere en bærekraftig måte å nyte mote på uten avfallet forbundet med å kjøpe nye antrekk. Initiativet hadde som mål å løse problemet med tekstilavfall og moteindustriens miljøpåvirkning. Det tilbød en løsning ved å skape en plattform for utleie av høykvalitets klær, og fremmet dermed en sirkulær økonomi innen tekstilsektoren. Til tross for sine edle intensjoner og potensial for positiv miljøpåvirkning, møtte Vibrent utfordringer som førte til konkursen i februar 2024.
